Accessibility Statement
HCL EMEA GmbH places great importance on providing its website in a manner that is as accessible as possible. This commitment is based on the requirements of the German Accessible Information Technology Ordinance (BITV 2.0) as well as the international Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1) at conformance level AA.
Significant parts of our website are already designed to be low-barrier. The structure, content, and navigation are intended to enable as many users as possible to use the site easily and independently—regardless of personal limitations or the devices they use.
Our goal is to further reduce existing barriers and to continuously improve the accessibility of our website. To achieve this, we regularly review and optimize technical and design elements to ensure equal access for all visitors.
Color Contrast and Visual Design
We are aware that certain areas of our website do not always meet the recommended contrast ratios for accessible reading. This primarily affects specific color and background combinations that are part of our visual brand identity. Because these design elements are closely tied to our corporate design, corresponding adjustments are currently only possible to a limited extent.
Nevertheless, we regularly evaluate how we can further improve the readability and accessibility of our content within these design constraints—for example, through alternative display options or supplementary design solutions.
Use of Map Services
To provide location-based information, our website uses interactive map services (e.g., for directions). Due to the technical framework of these externally embedded applications and their frequently changing content, we cannot currently guarantee fully barrier-free display.
Content from External Providers
Our website may include content, documents, or links to third-party offerings (e.g., from partner companies or institutions). We have no direct influence over the accessibility of these external contents and therefore cannot guarantee their unrestricted accessibility.
